Content: This masterclass has been divided into TEN modules each examining a specific issue pertinent to geriatric medicine with outcomes.
I strongly recommend that you take your time going through the videos in the order in which I have produced these. The reason is that knowledge is compounded over the length of the course, with the expectation that you know the facts from previous videos: thus avoiding duplication.
Stop the videos at anytime and think about where my information can be applied in your own role. This way of learning adds knowledge and meaning to your own geriatric experiences.
I have separated the videos into 'lunchtime' sized bites to minimise screen fatigue. Talk about the learning with colleagues to embed the learning. You will be amazed on how many new patient examples you will come across when you look at your own patients. I recommend that you have breaks between modules to consolidate learning, but I also remember my days as an excited student wanting to race towards the end! Bottomline is to find a pace that suits your needs and to avoid fatigue.
Test your knowledge: What better way to see how you are progressing than to complete a quiz. Each module will have a quiz at the end. A soon as these are completed you will see your answer.
